Life can feel overwhelming at times — especially when stress, anxiety, or emotional pressure builds up and begins to impact how you think, feel, and connect with others.
At Fern & Flow Counselling, I offer a calm, confidential space where you can slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and begin to reconnect with yourself in a supported way.
I provide counselling in Christchurch and online across New Zealand, making it easier for you to access support in a way that fits your life.
I work with adults experiencing a range of challenges, including:
Anxiety and constant overthinking
Stress and burnout
Feeling overwhelmed or emotionally stuck
Life transitions and change
Low self-esteem and self-doubt
Relationship stress and disconnection
Feeling lost, flat, or disconnected from yourself
You don’t need to have everything figured out before coming to counselling — we work together to understand what’s going on and what support might look like for you.
My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative.
In sessions, we will:
Explore what is currently feeling difficult or heavy
Identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck
Understand your emotional responses with more clarity
Develop tools to manage stress, anxiety, and overwhelm
Work towards change that feels realistic and sustainable
I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Instead, I tailor our work to what you need, at your pace.
A space where you don’t have to hold it all together, many people come to counselling feeling like they need to “cope better” or “just push through.”
Here, you don’t have to perform or have it all together.
This is a space where you can slow down, be honest, and begin to understand what’s really going on underneath the surface, without judgement.
Online Counselling NZ Wide
If you’re not based in Christchurch, or prefer the comfort of your own space, I also offer online counselling across New Zealand.
Online sessions are:
Secure and confidential
Flexible and accessible
Just as effective as in-person counselling for many people
Fern & Flow was created to reflect a sense of grounding and movement — like returning to yourself, even during times of uncertainty.
My work supports people to reconnect with a steadier sense of self, especially during periods of stress, anxiety, or change.
If something here resonates with you, you’re welcome to reach out to arrange a free first meet and greet to ask any questions.
