Our first session is a gentle 30-minute catch-up where we simply meet, talk about what’s brought you here, and explore what you’re hoping for. There’s no pressure to share anything you’re not ready for. It’s a soft landing, a space to see if we feel like the right fit to work together.
Standard sessions are 50 minutes. If you ever feel you need a little more time, we can discuss longer sessions.
No preparation is needed. Just arrive as you are. If it helps, you’re welcome to bring notes or questions, but it’s not required.
Everyone’s healing journey is different. Some people come for a handful of sessions, others prefer ongoing support. We check in regularly about how things are feeling and what you need.
My work is person-centred, trauma-informed, and solutions focused in both creative and body-aware practices. Depending on what feels right for you, we might explore somatic (body-based) awareness, nature-inspired grounding, expressive techniques, or practical emotional regulation tools. Your comfort and safety always guide the way.
Yes. What you share is confidential, except in situations where safety is at risk. I explain this clearly at the beginning so you always know where the boundaries are.
I prefer to begin our work together in person for at least the first few sessions, as it helps us build a grounded and steady connection. After that, we can be flexible — shifting to online sessions when needed and reassessing together as things evolve.
Counselling can help if you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply wanting to understand yourself on a deeper level. If you’re unsure, our free 30-minute catch-up is a great way to explore whether this space feels right for you.
I aim to make counselling accessible. If cost is a barrier, please reach out, I’m happy to discuss options based on your circumstances.
You can contact me by phone or email. If I’m with a client, feel free to leave a message and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. You’re welcome to reach out in whatever way feels most comfortable for you.
