At Fern & Flow, confidentiality, safety, and privacy sit at the heart of our work together. I believe that counselling can only be effective when you feel fully respected and secure in how your personal information and experiences are held.
During your first intake session, we’ll take time to gently explore any questions or concerns you may have about the counselling process, including topics you might not have considered yet. This is your space to understand how everything works, what to expect, and how your information is protected. You’re encouraged to ask anything you need to feel comfortable and informed.
Your story is your own, and your right to privacy is central to the therapeutic relationship we build. If at any point you wish to see the notes held on your file, you are entitled to request them, and I will happily walk you through anything that feels unclear.
Rest assured, no disclosure of confidential information will ever occur without us first discussing it together, unless a situation arises where I am legally required to share information for safety or statutory reasons. If that ever becomes necessary, I will explain the process with care and transparency.
My commitment is to hold your experiences with respect, integrity, and protection, so you feel supported, seen, and safe throughout your journey with Fern & Flow.
